Before registering, we recommend taking our free English level assessment to help you choose the course that best matches your current level.
To ensure you join the most suitable course, we offer a free English level assessment consisting of two parts:
- Written online placement test on our website www.tallinnlc.ee
- Speaking assessment (interview) with one of our teachers to evaluate your spoken English.
The speaking assessment can be taken:
- at our school (Luise 4, Tallinn);
- online via Zoom.

We offer both options.
Most of our courses are delivered in a hybrid format, allowing you to choose the learning method that best suits your needs:
- attend classes at our school (Luise 4, Tallinn);
- join live online via Zoom;
- combine classroom and online learning throughout your course.
Please note: Online classes at Tallinn Language Centre / International House Tallinn are always taught live. They are not pre-recorded video lessons. You participate actively with your teacher and classmates and communicate in English throughout every lesson.

Yes. All lessons are conducted entirely in English, regardless of the students’ level. Our teachers adapt their language and teaching methods to suit different levels, ensuring that everyone can participate actively and confidently.
This immersive approach helps develop both speaking and listening skills while building confidence in using English in real-life situations.
Course fees depend on the course duration and the number of lessons.
Group course fees for 2026-2027 academic year:
- I Semester: 7 September 2026 – 15 January 2027 (80 academic hours) – 892.80 €
- II Semester: 18 January 2027 – 17 May 2027 (80 academic hours) – 892.80 €
An additional 80 € is charged for course materials (a one-time purchase at the beginning of the course).
Private individuals may pay the tuition fee in 2 instalments per semester or 4 instalments per academic year, at no additional cost.
It is also possible to join a course for a shorter period. In this case, the course fee is calculated according to the number of lessons included in the chosen study period.
A full price list is available on our website.
Private individuals may claim income tax relief on eligible training expenses in accordance with the regulations of the Estonian Tax and Customs Board. Eligible tuition payments are automatically included in the pre-filled annual income tax declaration.
Our groups typically consist of 6–10 students.
Small class sizes allow every student to participate actively, receive individual feedback from the teacher, and practise speaking English during every lesson.
Yes. Students who successfully complete their course receive a Tallinn Language Centre / International House Tallinn certificate, indicating the CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages) level.
Yes. We offer preparation courses for the following Cambridge English qualifications:
- B2 First (FCE)
- C1 Advanced (CAE)
- C2 Proficiency (CPE)
Our courses develop all the language skills and exam techniques required for success.
Please note: Tallinn Language Centre / International House Tallinn is an official Cambridge English Preparation Centre.
Yes. We offer individual English lessons both at our school and online.
Lessons are tailored to your personal goals and needs. One-to-one lessons are ideal for improving English for work, developing general communication skills, preparing for international English exams, or expanding professional and industry-specific vocabulary.
One-to-one lesson fees:
- 1 academic hour (45 minutes) – from 32€ + VAT
- Course materials are charged separately.
