for Adults

English courses for adults at Tallinn Language Centre are suitable for learners of all ages, from beginners to advanced. A clear level system (A1–C2) ensures continuity in learning and allows each student’s progress to be effectively monitored.

For adults, we offer General English courses English for Life as well as combined General and Business English courses English for Life & Work at various proficiency levels. We also provide preparation courses for international English exams (Cambridge B2 First, Cambridge C1 Advanced, Cambridge C2 Proficiency, etc.).

Our English courses provide thorough and systematic language development in a friendly and supportive learning environment under the guidance of qualified teachers (Cambridge CELTA / DELTA or equivalent). Teachers at Tallinn Language Centre are native English speakers, and all lessons are conducted in English, ensuring maximum language practice and faster progress.

We offer face-to-face classes at our school, live online lessons (ZOOM), and hybrid courses, allowing to participate either in the classroom or online in real time.

The average group size is 6–10 students. Groups are formed based on the results of a placement test, which consists of a written test and an oral interview.

Tallinn Language Centre

The total volume of one course is 200 academic hours, including 160 hours of contact learning (in class or online) and 40 hours of independent study. Each course consists of two semesters, and each semester is further divided into two modules.
One academic hour lasts 45 minutes.

General English Courses

English for Life – general English courses for adult learners at different proficiency levels. We develop listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills, as well as grammar.

English for Life & Work – combined general and business English courses for adult learners at different proficiency levels. We develop listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills, learn grammar, and build universal workplace vocabulary.
